My Husband’s Other Woman Came to My Door and Said, ‘I’m Pregnant with His Baby, and We Needed This House to Raise Our Family’

I had loved that man.

I had trusted him.

But the photograph could not answer the question that mattered now.

Was that man still there?

Or had I spent years loving the memory of someone who had gradually become a stranger?

“I believe you didn’t want to lose me,” I said. “I think you wanted to keep me while having everything you wanted somewhere else.”

Tyler stared at me.

“And when the two lives collided, you expected me to make room.”

He opened his mouth.

No words came.

I looked toward Rachel.

She was standing near the door, her face pale and her hands clenched around her handbag.

“You came here this morning to ask me to leave my home,” I told her. “I will not do that. If you are carrying Tyler’s child, then I sincerely hope he takes responsibility for that child. But you will not build your future by deciding that I must surrender mine.”
