As she was led away, some fans could be heard booing and shouting for her to leave. The footage also appeared to show her throwing a drink before blowing a kiss from the stairs.
However, accounts of how the confrontation began differ, and the full circumstances surrounding the exchange remain important to understanding what happened.
According to a source cited by Page Six, the dispute reportedly started when a man in the crowd heckled Milwaukee Bucks player Kyle Kuzma about the appearance of his fiancée. McHenry allegedly intervened and asked the man to stop, after which the argument turned toward her.
The same source claimed that the man threw the first drink. The available account does not independently establish every detail of the confrontation, and the viral footage alone may not show the entire exchange.
A Promotion That Quickly Turned Into a Crisis
The timing made the incident particularly damaging to McHenry’s professional standing.
