The Surprise in the Delivery Room: A Medical Miracle That Shocked the World

I felt a chill pass through me.

The doctor who had repeatedly assured us that the pregnancy was understood had apparently known that the records were incomplete.

“Why would anyone hide something like that?” I asked.

Samar opened another folder.

“Because this was not just a counting error. Someone had altered the documentation associated with the pregnancy.”

She placed a photocopy on the table.

It contained a series of handwritten notes, several dates, and a signature.

Mamdouh leaned closer.

“Whose signature is that?”

Dr. Hisham stared at the page.

Then his face changed.

It belonged to Dr. Nabil, the physician who had performed my earliest scans and later transferred my care to Dr. Hisham.

Dr. Nabil had told us that the initial findings were straightforward. He had assured us that every later examination supported the original count.

But the notes suggested that he had recognized uncertainties much earlier.

“Where is he now?” Mamdouh asked.
