“Training starts at six tomorrow morning.”
Kate looked confused.

Lily allowed herself a small smile.
“If you really mean that apology, don’t be late.”
One month later, Kate broke her personal best.
When she climbed out of the water, the first person she looked for was Lily.
Lily stood near the pool with a stopwatch in her hand.
