Now I understand differently.
Grief doesn’t ask you to stop loving the person you’ve lost.
It asks you to decide what you will do with that love.
My mother was gone.
I could not change that.
Lily was gone.
Julian could not change that.
And yet neither of us had to let the love disappear with them.
Julian spent forty-five years turning his grief into beautiful things.
I had spent a year sitting beside strangers because I didn’t know where else to put mine.
And somehow, two people carrying love with nowhere to land found each other.
We only had seven days as husband and wife.
But those seven days changed the rest of my life.
Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had refused his proposal.
If I had listened to every sensible voice telling me it was strange.
If I had walked away.
I would never have known about Lily.
I would never have found Caleb.
I would never have seen the workshop.
And I would never have understood the lesson Julian had spent his entire life learning.
Love does not become meaningless because the person you love is gone.
Sometimes love becomes a responsibility.
A responsibility to carry something beautiful forward.
It was very touching story 😢 😢💔💔😘😘❤️❤️, I read from the beginning till the end ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
