My son hadn’t chosen Harrison because he loved him more.
He had been trying to protect something his grandfather had left behind.

Friday morning arrived with a call from Harrison’s attorney.
He wanted an emergency meeting concerning the trust.
Margaret agreed to attend, but only after arranging for the appropriate legal representatives to be present.
I was not supposed to see Tyler during that meeting.
Then, at 9:05 a.m., a car pulled up outside Margaret’s office.
The back door opened.
