My Husband’s Mistress Sent Me a Photo and Wrote, “YOUR TIME IS OVER. HE’S MINE NOW!” Three Weeks Later, She Fell to Her Knees at My Door, Begging Me to Save Her Daughter

“Is Lisa going to lose everything?”

“I don’t know yet.”

I gathered the documents.

“But I can tell you something. You must stop relying on Robert’s explanations. From now on, we deal with evidence.”

Susan nodded.

Then she said something that made my skin crawl.

“There’s one more thing.”

I looked at her.

“Robert told me you had money saved in an investment account. He said you were keeping it separate because you didn’t trust him.”

My heart began beating faster.

“How much did he say?”

“Enough to make a difference. He said that if you signed a few documents, the money could be used to settle some old debts before your divorce.”

I stared at her.

“I have never agreed to give him access to my savings.”

Susan began searching through the envelope.

“He told me he had already started the process.”

She handed me another document.

It was a preliminary loan application connected to our house.
