My Husband Moved His Mistress Into My House—But Neither of Them Knew What I Had Discovered

Something useful.

I looked at the man I had married and realized that he no longer saw me as his wife.

He saw me as an employee who had forgotten who signed her paycheck.

I could have screamed.

I could have thrown his plate across the kitchen.

I could have told him that I knew about the money, the secret account, and the business he had supposedly started with a woman who had just given birth to his child.

Instead, I smiled.

“Of course, darling.”

He blinked.

“Really?”

“Of course. If Vesna needs help, we should make her feel welcome.”

His shoulders relaxed immediately.

“There you go. I knew you’d understand.”

He stood, kissed the top of my head, and walked out of the kitchen.

At the doorway, he turned back.

“Oh, one more thing. Don’t bring up anything about her personal life. She’s sensitive right now.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.”
