Ken Urker Found Dead at His Louisiana Home on What Would Have Been His 34th Birthday — Gypsy Rose Blanchard Responds

Blanchard Turns Her Attention to Their Daughter

Blanchard said that, above everything else, Urker loved Aurora. She described their daughter as a reflection of her father’s enduring spirit and said that through Aurora, part of Urker would always remain with them.

Blanchard also said she wanted Aurora to know her father for the man he was — not through what strangers had said about him online. She vowed to make sure their daughter grew up knowing how deeply Urker loved her and understanding who he was beyond the storm of public commentary that surrounded him.

Blanchard ended her statement by asking for privacy and compassion for Aurora, both families, and everyone mourning Urker. She said no words could express the depth of the loss and that Urker would be missed, loved, and remembered.

Her statement capped a day in which the news of Urker’s death was quickly followed by conflicting descriptions of where his relationship with Blanchard stood. Autumn said the pair had split before his death and accused Blanchard of leaking the news to TMZ.

Blanchard, meanwhile, described Urker as the love of her life and her soulmate while speaking about his death and the daughter they shared. One crucial question, however, remains separate from that bitter dispute.
