Ken Urker Found Dead at His Louisiana Home on What Would Have Been His 34th Birthday — Gypsy Rose Blanchard Responds

Blanchard Says Urker Overdosed

Following Urker’s death, Blanchard told People that he had overdosed. The claim was Blanchard’s account, not an official cause of death announced by authorities. The Lafourche Sheriff’s Office said its investigation remained ongoing.

Blanchard said she did not know whether the alleged overdose had been intentional. “I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she said. She then added, “He was not in a good state of mind lately.”

Blanchard told People that Urker died in his bed at his Raceland home. A source close to the family also confirmed to the outlet that he was found dead at the residence on October 1.

Her description of her own reaction laid bare the anguish of the moment. “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think,” she said. “I’ve screamed until my throat burns.”

But Blanchard’s comments went far beyond the circumstances of Urker’s death. She described him as an amazing father, said he was deeply loved, and called him the love of her life.

She also referred to Urker as her soulmate and “red string,” describing a connection she believed time, distance, and even death could not erase. Those deeply emotional descriptions came after Autumn’s stark statement that “They’ve been split up.”
