I Died After Giving Everything to My Girlfriend—Then I Woke Up Three Years Earlier With a System That Rewarded Me for Changing My Fate

He was meeting one of my competitors.

I watched him from the glass conference room.

The same man who had sat across from Chloe three years ago.

The same man whose hand had rested over hers.

The same man connected to my downfall.

I looked at Chloe.

She noticed my expression.

“What is it?”

“Nothing.”

I stood.

“Stay here.”

I walked toward Daniel.

He saw me.

His face changed immediately.

“Ethan.”

“Daniel.”

He tried to smile.

“It’s been a long time.”

“Not for me.”

He froze.

“What does that mean?”

“It means I remember.”

“Remember what?”

“Everything.”

His face lost its color.

Chloe stood behind me.

“What are you talking about?”

I turned toward her.

“The restaurant.”

She stopped breathing.

“The messages.”

Daniel stepped backward.

“The debt.”

Chloe’s eyes widened.

“The plan.”

Neither of them spoke.

I placed a folder on the table.

Inside were bank transfers, messages, company records, contracts and photographs.

Everything.

Daniel picked up one page.

His hand started shaking.

“Where did you get this?”

“Three years of work.”

“You can’t prove—”

“I already sent copies to investigators.”

Silence.

Chloe began crying.

“Ethan, please.”

I looked at her.

There was a time when hearing her cry would have destroyed me.
