A concussive shockwave of humid salt air, pulverized oak splinters, and high-pressure tactical propellant blew through the two-story foyer, blowing the crystal chandelier into forty thousand pieces of incandescent glass and throwing the three private contractors from Naples flat on their backs across the foyer floor:
