On a rainy Tuesday morning, Penelope went into labor.
Valerie rushed her to the hospital while Daisy was attending school. Penelope was terrified that Gabriel would show up at the maternity ward to play the role of the distraught, loving husband in front of medical staff who did not know their history.
However, Samantha had already delivered the signed protective order directly to hospital administration, and security officers had his photo posted at every entrance.
Gabriel tried to enter anyway, arriving forty minutes after Penelope was admitted and demanding access at the front desk by shouting that he was her legal husband.
“I am sorry, sir, but Mrs. Albright is not accepting any visitors today,” the nurse on duty stated firmly.
A lead security guard stepped forward immediately, and when Gabriel tried to use his usual charm before turning to anger and lawsuit threats, he was promptly escorted off the premises before Penelope ever had to see his face.
