“My daughter has a connection tonight,” he said. “If we miss it, what are you going to do about it?”
“Sir, I understand that you’re concerned. Connecting flights are handled by our ground team, and they can explain your options once we have an updated arrival time.”
“That’s not an answer.”
“It’s the information I have right now.”
Marcus shook his head.
“So you’re telling me you can’t do anything?”
“I’m telling you I can’t promise something I haven’t been authorized to promise.”
His expression hardened.
“Unbelievable.”
Several passengers turned to watch.
Danielle tried to step around him, but Marcus moved closer to the aisle.
“Don’t walk away while I’m talking to you.”
“Sir, please allow me to pass.”
“I’m a paying customer.”
“And I’m asking you to let me through.”
Her voice was firmer now.
A passenger two rows behind Marcus raised his phone.
