And perhaps the most difficult question of all:
Can we fairly judge an entire human being by a moment when they were under pressure?
Passengers deserve respect, clear communication, and honest answers.
Employees deserve safe working conditions, fair treatment, and an opportunity to explain what happened before their mistakes become public entertainment.
Neither responsibility cancels out the other.
A person can be genuinely wronged and still respond badly. An employee can make a mistake without deserving to lose an entire career. A recording can show something real without showing everything that matters.
The next time a video appears online with an angry caption and a demand that everyone choose a side, it may be worth asking one simple question before sharing it.
What happened before the camera started rolling?
Because sometimes, the most important part of a story is the part nobody thought to record.
And sometimes, the difference between justice and a public judgment is the willingness to wait until the entire story has been heard.
