At first, nobody believed Adrián Narváez and Delia Lúquez could possibly have a future together.
The difference between them was too obvious.
Adrián was young, full of dreams, poetry, and restless energy. Delia was already an established woman, a passionate teacher and painter who had spent decades building a life around art. When they first met, there was a 45-year age difference between them, and to the people around them, that difference seemed to be the only thing that mattered.
But Adrián and Delia saw something else.
They saw two people who could sit together for hours without running out of things to say.

Their story began in 1998 at an art exhibition.
Adrián was only sixteen years old at the time. He had already developed a strong interest in writing and was fascinated by poetry, stories, and the power of words. Delia, then sixty-one, was an experienced teacher and painter who had dedicated much of her life to artistic expression.
Their first meeting was not romantic.
