Some people have them and others don’t, but they tend to really catch the eye. We are talking about the small dimples that form on the lower back, just above the buttocks.

In many places, they are known as “Venus dimples,” and for centuries they have been surrounded by curiosity, symbolism, and even beliefs regarding health.
